I thought I'd start a thread for it. My head hurts and for
some reason today it reminds me really scary of Pom Poko.
spirited away, my neighbour totoro, and the cat returns just
by some parts.
Has that eerie feel not many animes have. I'm up to episode
5 because its taken me awhile. It looks a heck lot different
from most CLAMP manga and anime.
Sort of makes me want to cry, dunno why.

I have the first book of this! Its about (so far as ive got) this guy who keeps getting attacked by spirits finds this house where a woman (Time Witch) lives with these two little servant girls. The woman promises to help him if he becomes her virtual slave. Its quite funny and snappy. Also if u like Tsubasa? That ties in with this because it is THAT time witch tht Syoaran brings Sakura too.

It's cool. It can be scary at points.
The show is 26 episodes long and I'll help Haruko explain.
It starts off with a boy named Watanuki Kimihiro,
his name means April 1st, who can see spirits and wishes
to be rid of them. So one day he gets dragged to Witch
Yuuko's house and she says she can help, but it would
come with a price, and that would be that he'd have to
work for her.
It's quite funny, since Yuuko gets drunk often. And how
she and Kuro Mokona take advantage of him and ask for
things that seem impossible. And how Watanuki spasses
out, especially at Doumeki(I found a voice actor that'd be
good for him in English, and I got him on a character quiz)
and he's like weird, complete idiot mode around that girl.
Yuuko is my fav.^^

And despite the above two rave reviews, it's not much of an anime to celebrate.
XXXHolic basically revolves around the life of Watanuki Kimihiro, who has the unfortunate tendency to attract spirits. He can see them, of course. Different situations, different people, different spirits.
The anime tries to follow the same; unfortunately, somewhere along the production, it felt like they gave up on the whole series and just finished it for the sake of finishing a season.
Not that the manga was any better, despite it being very interesting Contradictory, I know, but then personally I prefer a solid storyline then short stories linked together.

Yeah, I understand where your going. And I think I'd rather
read the manga considering the fact it sort of scares me how
Watanuki looks in the anime(like freaky), and if you notice how Yuuko looks. Except I wish i could have a baseball bat
like hers and write Gwhhatever she wrote on it and bash something in half. Mwahahahahaha! She's cool. Freaky how
my voice can sound like her in Japanese and I'm only 12 but have that freakish loud woman voice when i change my voice with an eerie-like ton. More likely to get male roles if I do voice acting. And mainly someone weird.
Heh hee. I just have a really weird voice, that's all. It can
sound dumbfounded or really cute at moments, to sounding like a freaky witch or a cat. Nya!
What did Yuuko-san have written on her bat? something from
Lupin3rd..

i can't remember if i read the manga but i don't think that i did. i saw all of the show. i thought it was pretty good. had a lot of funny moments. i think yuuko is an alcholic imo.
