Oh, yeah! I love Sky Blue. There's not too much plot in it and its fairly predictable and the characters don't really grow but the whole visual experience is great, and the music. I watch it often because its so easy to watch and so nice to look at.

Re: Sky Blue: The opening sequence of Kay driving her bike in the rain is just an awesome scene. I sometimes just pop the DVD in the player just to watch that. The combination of the low background track, her voice (which is beautiful) and the amazing detail in the raindrops on the road and on the waxed surface of the bike is just one of the best sequences in any anime I think.
The other short sequence that blows me away is when the gang breaks into the city and that guy fires the rocket from the truck window to blow open the gateway ahead of the charging truck - the camera stays focussed on the head of the missile as it flies towards the camera leaving the truck behind. Again that's just a stunning piece of animation.

I saw it twice. It was much better than the second one. I really like the music. For some reason music is the first thing I notice about any movie, even animes.
I just bought Fruits Basket Volume 16. It's looks like a realy cheerful manga but it's actually kind of dark.

YO!
I bought 2 Osamu Tezuka comics.
Apollo's Song, Ode to Kirihito.
Both amazing.
Also bought "The wAtchmen" by Alan Mooore, Illustrated by Dave Gibbons.
AMAZING graphic Novel.
Truly amazing.
The only manga that comes close to it in terms of intricate story telling is stuff by Tezuka, like the Buddha series.
Even so, its probably better.
There is a reason why it is critically acclaimed as the best graphic novel of all time.
AMAZING.

Moore wrote the Watchmen just before he wrote V for Vendetta. And you're right, its his finest work and perhaps the finest graphic novel of all time.
BTW, surprised you've got time to post here, haven't you got better things to be doing?

Yeah. You've got commitments, boy.
Also, I had heard about the Watchmen being really good. My friend has it I think... I'll give it a shot.

YO!
I know what you guys are hinting at, but no.
And that was like... my first post in like, 27 years.
Another day. hehe.
Anyway. I finished early today, so I had time to check into here.
Yesterday I bought "V for Vendetta" and "Batamn, the DArk Knight returns" by Frank Miller.
Its good, but not as good as his SIn City stuff.
It reads a lot faster than Watchmen. Watchmen took me ages to finish.

You've got a good eye to buying the best graf-novels. Dark Knight is another excellent one.
