Miyazaki drew this, I think... It's in the back of the insert in the Mononoke-hime Symphonic album.

Anyway, do you think Miyazaki relates himself personally to Porco? Or does he just think that he can look like a pig?

Haha, yeah I think you're right. Miyazaki once stated that when men reach middle-age they start to look like pigs (with their growing waistlines, etc).

Also, he did a short movie for the Ghibli Museum called "Imaginary Flying Maсhines", which features a pig narrator voiced by Miyazaki himself.

I don't think the pig thing is just physical. Pig-minded is also the way Miyazaki thinks when men get older.

I think Miyazaki sees himself as a pig, and probably Porco as who he wishes he was. I think that he once said that Porco is everything cool. I can't help but agree.

However, I think, that Porco is not supposed to be him, but just a "cool dude" in a way..

I forget which DVD it was(Porco or later)it said something about him portraying himself as a pig.^^Yeah, I
get mad at my friend calling guys pig-headed, usually because of Porco.
Now i'm gonna say, "Stop it. now you insulting my father and uncles, and etc.". She'd wonders what i'm talking about.
