Problem with japanese IME input (PLEASE)

About a fortnight ago, I installed arabic input (right-to-left) for my father to use. Problem is, this new installation caused input problems when I switched to japanese IME now.



The one on the left is what appears now when I type in using IME, regardless of the program. The one on the right is what it SHOULD look like, and what I've been using all this while. It may not look like much, but believe me, it's a big deal.

So anyway, wondering if anyone here knows how to fix this problem. Hopefully those who uses IME as I do would know how to fix this.

Sorry, can't be any help with teh problem. Have you tried contacting the site you got the fonts etc from?

(yeah I know its not just the fonts but more, but you know what I mean)

What is that wavy line? It requires convert into kanji?
My IME is like this.

First, input hiragana, then IME requires how convert to kanji with dot underline.
Second, push space key, then IME shows 1st choice of convert with solid underline.
Third, push enter key, then IME decides.

O....kay, I don't think I explained the problem properly.

Usually, when I type in japanese, it appears like how JRR typed his, and like the picture on the right.

But after I installed arabic, it turns into what Kanta uses, like the picture on the left.

Granted, it still does the same job, no difference. But because I use notepad, the words, now displayed as LARGE CURSIVE WRITING, is squashed, and I can barely see what I type with that squiggly line (and yes Kanta, it's waiting for conversion).

The problem is not in the USAGE, but in how the words are DISPLAYED. The DISPLAY is the problem here.

so the problem is more along the lines of the actual font?

Something like that. For notepad, it corrects itself when I press enter to finalize the word, but otherwise, during input or word searching, it looks like that squashed oversized font.

To put simply, for notepad, during entry or searching, it looks like the left pic. When I hit Enter to finalise, it looks like the right pic.

Does that sound comprehensive enough?
