I don't really get scared by films anime or anyother. I mean Jarasic Park freaked me out when I was about 6 but otherwise...
I don't cry while watching moives either although I came really close when I saw Grave of the Fireflies.

i thinki saw jurassic park every week for a year when it first came out on video. God i loved it, i havent seen it in agaes, i may have to refresh on it, thanks for bringing that up. i heard perfect blue is scary it is currently on the download.

Hmmm this is pretty OT...

The sad thing about most scary films is that after you've watched ten you're guaranteed to know what happens in 90% of all other horror films. Which is probably why the industry is now turning to films that simply gross people out. (Like Saw) I don't know if Anime is taking a similar approach...

The gore in Elfen Lied was nice, I always thought it was there to show a contrast with the house and the outside world.
