Hello everyone,

Originally a fan translation group called Adachi Universe set about translating this compilation of Yamada comic strips, but the group became inactive before completing it. I have therefore translated the remaining pages of this volume, but I do not plan to translate the rest (vol. 2-4). Sorry.

Fans of the "My Neighbours the Yamadas" movie by Takahata should enjoy these short strips -although the humour is pretty hit and miss. Well, hope you all enjoy it anyway.

You did a fine job! I enjoyed it. I read the original long ago since I've taken Asahi(news paper) for 30 years.

Recently the plot of Nono-chan often leaps or doesn't have clear punch line. I'm afraid it isn't so funny for many people.

Btw, I have a question on the 19th episode. Matsuko's phone call says, "When's my birthday?" but "your birthday". Is it OK?

Thank you, Kanta. It's good to hear from you again.

Since I translated the manga from another (french) translation source, it probably has quite a few mistakes -especially since my french is very bad. I thought that Takashi was perhaps repeating what Matsuke said, like some people do when they want to may sure they understood correctly.

Anyway, I visited this website recently and I think its yours. It's a very nice blog.

Oh yes I remember now -I even downloaded all the volumes so far, but I had forgotten because I'm waiting for its completion before reading. The scans are very nice quality though.

I don't think dballred is Daniel Thomas, unless he likes to keep two usernames on this forum...and I can't really see the point in that.
