Yesterday is a fully adult story, plus the menstruation issue and Ocean Waves has some themes (a schoolgirl taking a schoolboy to a hotel room; school kids getting drunk; lying; separated parents) that might not go down too well with a mainstream audience.
That's my guess anyway.
