Does anyone have the ghibli DVD player, the totoro one with the acorn remote? I was just wondering whether it's any good and where I can find it cheapest - so far love ghibli for a crazy $350!

That thing was available only as a limited edition, and that was like almost nine years ago. Doubt you can find it, and even if you could, I don't think the quality of the player itself will be any good.
Disregarding ageing, the player is a standard basic no-frills DVD player, and can only play R2 DVDs. In other words, only for true fans of Ghibli.

Hello Rachel,I have this dvd player as brand new. It is one of the best Ghibli collections. I am thinking let go it for the price you tag. so if you still interested of having this DVD player, please let me know, cheers ^^
