I have the feeling that everyone here is in their late teens. But actually I am 13 years old. I hope you don't mind that.

I create artwork and short stop-motion animations, and soon I want to teach myself hand-drawn animation and anime. My dream is learn the Japanese language and move to Japan after I get my bachelor's degree (which is a LONG time from now). I either want to be a director or an animator. But something I would really really like to do is to become an animator for Studio Ghibli (though it is highly unlikely that will ever happen). The problem with that is that by the time I would even arrive at Japan, Hayao would be like 80 or 81 years old! I just hope he won't retire! <3

Welcome to the tavern, its nice to see that younger teenagers have intrest in ghibli, more seem to appear every day.

When I became a member over three years ago, there were a number of active members that were in their early teens so don't worry about the age thing.

And yes, I do believe that I am the oldest member, age-wise, in the Tavern... unless Saddletank is really up there as well??? hmmmmmm?
