So this is my first thread,
and I just got done watching "The Secret World of Arrietty"
and I thought they did an amazing job on it, yes it was short, but it was still adorable!

Did anyone else see, enjoy the movie about the "tiny people", or "the borrowers"?

Just curious, because so far I haven't seen anyone else yet, write anything about Arrietty.


what are your thoughts?

Hi! Welcome to the tavern!

Yeah i really enjoyed it too, especially since i saw it at the cinema! I think i maybe expected a bit more though, because i have been waiting (impatiently) for it for so long and i guess all though it was a very good movie it felt lacking a bit in many aspects.

Welcome to the Tavern, hyperangelica...


There are actually three or so threads concerning 'Arrietty' in the first three pages including a poll at the top of page three...

While I enjoyed the movie, I thought that it was kinda 'flat' compared to other Ghibli movies...

It did lead me to check out five of the 'Borrower' series from the local library...

I finally got to see Arrietty in engish a couple weeks ago. It was kinda a disapoinment. It was beautiful to look at, but I found it to be slow. Its the only movie that I liked better in Japanese!

It was a cute movie Not as amazing as the others, but i still like it!
