Crooks already trying to sell Howl. | |
So I know if you loved Howl like I did, then you would want to see it over and over again, like I did. !!
BUT!!!! If you love it enough to respect Miyazaki and all of his belaboured artists that worked their TAILS OFF to make such a beautiful film, you should be patient enough to wait for the real release date and not fall prey to the bootleggers who are trying to sell copies of it right? I should hope so!
I actually corresponded with a bootlegger on "a major auction site." And he had the audacity to taute Miyazaki's brilliant work in his ad, while he tries to bootleg his work and make money off of it. It made me so angry. He felt no remorse. Plus he didn't create any of the imagination and artwork that has led to the beautiful brilliant films we all enjoy. Why does he get cash?
Sure some things are hard to come by, or are too expensive. At least that's the excuse I hear from people who buy bootlegs. But come on, a DVD doesn't cost that much, and it wouldn't hurt just to sit tight a few months and enjoy the anticipation of buying the real thing would it?
And you would at least know that you are paying Miyazaki respect by doing so.
PLEASE don't support these crooks!
PLEASE report pirated Ghibli movies!
If you love the movies, you would protect them!
