Princess Mononoke Was the best and will be the best anime I ever saw, The art was beautiful and amzing, The animation was perfect, and the story was the best.
Also, I believe that this beats most animes in origianalty. Finally, he was able to cleary and accuratley show how feudal Japan actually looked and how the people of Japan suffered.

I love Mononoke Hime, it's arguably the best Hayao Miyazaki film to date. I've also seen it like 50 times!!

Wow lots of fans...oh and I've check and I don't think there is a book T_T but yes that is a really good movie and it does explain alot of the past and how it looked infact I first saw it like...1 year ago and I saw it in class this year cause our teacher is really cool and she believes that that movie showed alot of detail and plain out...it isn't as edited as like...bambi and stuff I mean it should show you what happens

E_Hakki has given a nice list of books on Mononoke available in English. But if you can read Japanese (or do not mind ignoring the text), there is a wider selection available.
4) Roman album
- a compilation of concept sketches, cel layouts, staff interviews, production diary and misc stuff
5) Storyboards
- different from the 80s version, this is the one that was used for the production of the Mononoke movie. Much thicker than its precdecessor, with rough but nonetheless great skecthes.
6) Archive
- a compilation of promotional materials, news-clippings, pamphlets, productional proposals and misc drawings
7) unofficial publications by avid Ghibli fans/researchers
- focus on discussing the themes, implications and various aspects of the movie. Since they are text-intensive, you need to have a good grasp of Japanese to enjoy them.
