I'd call a fish Bruce, cos Bruce is the name of the shark in Finding Nemo, but also cos all my favourite peeps are called Bruce...Bruce Wayne (Batman), Bruce Lee, and Bruce Banner (The Incredible Hulk)!

I have a plant at home called Sen, but that name doesn't fit a fish...for some reason, I always think of fish as being male!!

Do you know SAZAE-SAN??
It’s the most famous Anime in Japan. Just like Simpson’s.
Its manga started 60 years ago, and anime started 30 years ago.
Many of the characters have names connected with fish or sea.
example
Father : Namihei ... means wave
Mother : Fune ... means ship
Older daughter : Sazae ...means turban shell
Son : Katsuo ...means bonito
Younger daughter : Wakame ...means seaweed
Sazae’s husband : Masuo ... means trout
Sazae’s son : Tara ... means cod fish
Masuo’s friend : Anago ...means sea eel??
And so on

I tried to look for images of Sazae-san, but I can get only few.
Perhaps they are strictly controlled. But there are many parodies on the net.
So this is one of them. Not official. Their faces seem almost same.

Japanese like eating sea products.
Katsuo is very popular fish.
We usually eat it raw. Very delicious.

Umm...if it was like a silvery-blue color, I would name it Luna or some variation of that. I think it means "moon" in Spanish.
