I was 11 or so..

We're speaking of 12-13 here. When i watched Mononke the first time i am past 20 already but i still have some loose ends after it. But Mononoke is one of my fave too. ^^

I was 7-8 and it seemed less as scary then then
now at 12!

I watched mononoke 10-11, it was gd stuff but didnt scare me at all. I'd previously seen the manga film 'X' So mononoke looked like the japanese version of bambi at the time

I dunno 'bout Mononoke in front of a school class at end of term... I mean all those heads and arms flying off and blood everywhere...
Remember my daughters credibility and trustworthyness in front of her teacher is at stake here.
I suppose she could take Blood: The Last Vampire, that would go down well...

I am impressed at ppl having to watch Mononoke younger than 12, question is - did they fully get it then?

My son's 10 and I'm not sure if he got the full story except he really liked the part when heads and arms are flying off.
