  Studio Ghibli Steelbooks

Anyone got any ?

I plan to get all, all include the Blu Ray and DVDs. Artwork is nice, could be better but not bad.

Each sell for about £19.99 or $29.99

Oh, I wasn't aware these existed! They look really nice, but as I can't play Blu-Rays and have the DVDs for most of them, it's not really worth it for me. Pretty snazzy though.

Not really, just remove the dust.

The most time consuming part, is watching them, but as long as it's a Studio Ghibli movie, then it's a pleasure.

I agree with that, Skovgaard, always a pleasure to watch Ghibli's...

I am getting all 4 in the new year, money tight until after x-mas. I am going to the states, so maybe I can pick some Ghibli stuff there for cheap.

Is there any extra content on the steel books compared to the collectors edition blurays? It gets confusing between DVD bluray and steelbooks!

I second this. What's a steelbook? I've never even heard of them.

Me, I'm fine with the japanese DVDs.

Ones in metal cases. Generally they're special editions, but if there's a separate collectors' edition then I'm not sure what the difference would be.

It's just a preferable version, I personally collect Steelbooks. They look nice in collections.

They come with the Blu Ray and DVD. I am not sure on any special content, speak to any of those who own them.

Is there any "making of" documentaries, or deleted scenes or trailers? Just don't know whether to go for these or the special edition bluray? Im more interested in the content than the appearance. Although all things being equal I would chose the steel books. Thanks.
