It doesn't happen often enough, but occasionally, a past, known Member will pop in and post something and other times I will notice when one has shown up and is just looking around... I miss the days when when there was a lot of activity... sigh...

HL/ drove to a fast-food place and the drive-thru window server was a young guy (maybe 18-19) and he saw my Totoro and he commented on it and Ghibli in general. I showed him my 'Kodama' tat, and he immediately recognized it and remember the movie! (Princess Mononoke).. I told him about the new movie coming out soon and about the Tavern...

Makes me feel good that a new generation is seeing Ghibli's...

HL: working from home today, so I went out and visited a new café at lunchtime. Well, part café, part vintage Scandinavian furniture shop. They do a good lunch! But the place is a bit out of the way, so I'm not sure I'll be back anytime soon.

Yes! Well I stick to cupcakes and cookies. I'm too much of a perfectionist and do not have the necessary cake decorating skills for it to be an enjoyable experience.

In related news, HL: got all the stuff for making gingerbread man cookies with my kiddos. I'm excited.

Also going skating today. Been teaching my 4 year old and also remembering myself lol.
