Now if only we could find a way to download them :Z

I hate RTMP streaming, it always plays so jittery

P.S - http://www.ghibli.jp/26trailer/ged2_lg.swf - to watch it at a resizable level.

Opening event of "Aardman exhibition" in the Ghibli museum.

Miyazaki Hayao talked about the movie making etc. with Peter Lord.

Miyazaki said,
--"I had sympathy in the posture of the staff who worked and exhausted when I visited studio. I felt that they are really working."

--"It is really difficult for us to keep making what we want to make it. I think so, from our experiences. There is a possibility of the process of calling the person little by little with their hard work will occur in the future. I think it is good if this exhibition leaves people something influence."

--"I hope that people who visited the exhibition feel wisdom and happiness of inventiveness from the works of this studio where they has been made without losing the mind when establishing their studio."

Gedo Release Date

I've been checking in with various sources, including Ghibli and Toho and they still don't have a definite release date. As I'll be travelling to Tokyo in July, I'm worried that I might not be able to see it if it's released on the 29th. If anybody finds out the release date, could they please post it here?

...at least I'll be able to see the remake of Nihon Chimbotsu (the Submergence of Japan) on the 15th.

Well, I know why you hadn't seen it before > because it has been released today! It's the second official film poster of Gedo Senki > announced by Studio Ghibli today. It's interesting to hear about that thing using 6 instead of 4 colors. I added a news item of it with more background info over here:

Thank you! Now I have a little time to figure out how to shift my trip a week.

It's playing at all the theaters I normally go to (Saitama, Tokyo, Chiba), so the 268 theater release must be wide for Japan.

Today Studio Ghibli informed us over about the opening of the official “Taneyamagahara no Yoru”-website. It features it’s trailer, some staff, story and DVD info. "Taneyamagahara no Yoru" will be the director's debut of background art master Kazuo Oga.

Toho mentions that "The theater list which sells an advance sale ticket." This list not means Gedo Senki to be relased 268 theaters. It to be released more large scale.

For example, this is the theater list sells an advance sale ticket of Trick2.

Interview with Miyazaki Goro on "Monthly Cyzo 2006.6" (in Japan).

--------------------------------------------------
Goro:
I don't have a hard time so much if Miyazaki Hayao is a wonderful person.

Goro:
I said, "I will hold out". And, "When we will finished this work,
I hope return to the Ghibli museum ".
I said for I thought that I will be make the atmosphere of the scene peaceful.
My father heard it from someone, and he called me.
He said. "Do you have such lukewarmly feelings? Do not make the escape from the beginning."
We did the quarrel of shouting each other. After that, we are not talking.
When meeting by chance in office, the person who noticed the other earlier
will make way for the other silently. lol

Goro:
(In the whisper. ) I still hope to return to the museum.
But, because even if I say the remark of which side, it bring about the criticism.
When I say that "I will return", I will be said by people that I am irresponsible.
When I say that "I will not return", I will be said by people that I am a betrayer. lol.
I can do nothing but say, "I will think about it after completing the movie." for the time being.
