  Ah! My Goddess Help

Hey everyone, I have been watching Ah! My Goddess and it is like my favorite anime so far, but I have a problem. I feel like I may have skipped episodes, because I had to go to different websites to see them because of megavideo time out and what not, I watch it dubbed so don't hate me lol.

I feel like it ended abruptly, and in the theme sequence, it shows Skuld with her own spirit but I never saw an episode with her having one.

Help please? Thanks!

Oh and what's another anime that is like Ah! My Goddess? I loved everything about it

My favorite film from Studio Ghibli would have to be Howl's Moving Castle, from the story, to the soundtrack, this movie has exceeded all others. But I will always be a fan of every movie by Studio Ghibli, I'm not the biggest fan of Whisper of the Heart, I guess because I like the action and the magic in the others.

I have the dvd series and the manga, but I am on my way to work right now and won't be back online for a couple of days. I will look it up when I get back if you haven't gotten an answer by then...

you might try "DearS"

Hi FunkyDan...

I'm back, but this will take longer than I anticipated. I find that I do NOT have the DVD series (a situation that will be rectified as soon as I can), but I DO have a number of the manga books.

in the meantime, here are some others that you might enjoy...

Girls Bravo
Midori Days
Toradora

OK, I'm back, but unfortunately I don't have an answer for you, Funky... I couldn't find anything out about your question... I have the DVDs now, but will have to dig deeper I think. I am reading some of the manga to try and help myself, wish me luck...

Anyone else with some input would be welcome...

++====================================

Ok, still digging...

I have a number of OMG... manga form books that are collections of OMG... comics. In the one subtitled 'Sympathy for the Devil', the second story with the same title contains a scene where Keiichi's sister Magumi is transformed into a car by the evil demon Mara. One scene shows Megumi's spirit rising above the car...

If a mere human can have the spirit then I would assume that the goddesses', likewise, would all have one whether it has been shown in an episode or not.

My DVDs eps total only 5 in my collestion and I don't know right know if there are more. As good as the series is, you would think so, right?

I don't know if this is answering your questions or not...

anyway, all for know...

Thanks for all the help, it means a lot to me, I just thought it was rather strange that it ended so abruptly, but I didn't think about the manga, because series do that, having you read the manga to see the rest of the story, though to have a scene in the opening theme that I never saw in the show is rather strange. But thanks so much for your help~!

possibly like in a live action film where there are 'outtakes' that never make it into the actual film, this may be along the smae idea... although, I too, think that there is something missing and I'm not getting all of the eps... but, I have not been able to find anything else in the marketplace... only the 2 vols...
