Posted by carly28 on 01.10.2014, 05:29 PM: Ha ha. I burlesque dance in my free time and I love cake decorating. I'm not completely hobbyless I guess.
|
Posted by husky51 on 01.10.2014, 06:07 PM: hahahaha, only burlesque dance I've ever done was one night at the "F St theater" back in the mid-60's. I was hypnotized and told I was 'Gypsy Rose Lee' and they started the bump and grind music (did I mention that it was a burlesque theater?) I was doing pretty well until I started to unbutton my levi's and the hypnotist stopped me. weird evening.

Posted by husky51 on 01.11.2014, 12:52 PM: Actually, a lot depends on the subject and the hypnotist. I and the others with me that evening were part of a group that were hypnotized collectively, then the ones who had responded ere brought up on stage. I was totally aware of everything that was going on and even had free thought.

|
Posted by Roarkiller on 01.12.2014, 09:19 PM: Hypnotism in general, from what I know, is only taught in schools under psychology as a means of healing. The usefulness of hypnotherapy is still under debate, but it is at least a recognized skill now compared to in the past.

Posted by Saddletank on 01.12.2014, 10:44 PM: Hi Carly, I don't want to sound like a misery, but that's an awfully big image in your sig. It would help if you made it smaller. I think we have some sig image size rules somewhere on the forum. It might be 150 px high x 500 wide or something like that. Cal, yours is a bit big too.
