Active enough, there are a good few posts each day. You can see by looking around at the recent threads and such how active the place is. So I hope you'll stick around, it's a nice place, this.

WELCOME to the Tavern... Hoping that you will stay and help keep us going. The Tavern has been around for 8 years or so and, like was said before, it used to be quite a bit more active. The main reason IMO is that people have grown and in many cases their active interests have changed. I don't know how old you are, susuwatarii, and it is of no concern of mine, but if you are old enough to have gone through this change, you can understand what I am talking about.

We don't hold it against them that have left and a number of them still check in now and then and we have consideredall of them our friends for a long time now. I have been here for just over 6 years myself and I joined because I love Ghibli Studio films. I watch other anime, but Ghibli are generally my favorite. I talk to people that I meet in the street who recognize and comment on my Ghibli tattoos and I tell them about the Tavern and hopefully they are interested enough to at least check us out.

I am not a moderator, that is Roarkiller, I am an old guy and my tastes haven't changer in a long, long time and that is why I still come in here two or more times a day. I love the people that I know in here and am proud to call them my friends. I am glad that Flare joined a while back and am glad that he likes it in here.
