Posted by Saddletank on 10.04.2015, 03:56 AM: Jiji never talks. It is just Kiki's imagination that he speaks. As a child she has him as her friend and their conversations are imaginary. At the end of the film she no longer needs the child-like comfort of an imaginary friend as she has matured and now has real relationships.

In life, when we face situations that are unsettling, it may affect our daily lives, including the way we see and interact with people around us. Kiki was so upset that it reflected on her relationship with Jiji.
