A group of animation-lovers in Pakistan (where there is no animation industry) did a Kickstarter for a most-likely-Ghibli-inspired animated movie. They were originally hoping to fund the first 15 minutes or so of the movie, but they got 232% funding, so they're now set to finish over half the movie by next year. They only got 100K USD. Not really possible for that quality full length in that money. Maybe thats why they are not publishing any updates. Such a shame. They can make a short version.
