Could anyone help me identify the song that plays during this sequence in Only Yesterday?

The only thing that I can find in the IMdb movie site is "Frunzulita Lemn Adus" Which google translates to "Agitated Green leaves-Wedding". It is recorded by Gheorghe Zamfir... the noted Pan player (an instrument of handheld pipes)...

I'm not sure just what music is played at that scene so I will have to check and see if it is the same....

I hope it is what you're looking for.

btw, welcome to the Tavern...

I found this other title: Cantec de nunta (Romanian Wedding Song) also by Zamfir...

I can't tell if they are one and the same or two separate bits of music

I can relate to your frustration, roomtwo, I once heard and recorded a bit of music from my car radio. I loved the tune, but just couldn't identify it even though it sounded vaguely familiar... Like you, it drove me nuts, lol...

Finally one day I was at the library and had asked the question and played the music for him when another librarian spoke up, "Why, that's "Born Free"!

Of course it was, lol... No wonder it sounded familiar.

Good show, bel... I knew someone would know....

Lovely... though it sounds better against that amazing animated sunrise over the saffron fields.
