Here's a question ~ have any of you read, or even heard of, Shade's Children?? It's also by Garth Nix, but no-one I've asked about it has heard of it...

I got it free when I spent over £20 in Ottakar's two Christmasn Eves ago. I was buying prezzies for family, and got it free. I kept it for myself and read it, and it's one of the best novels I've ever read.

I could post a review, but there are plenty of them out there on the internet, and I don't know if any of you would be interested; but I'm curious, has anyone else alive read, or heard of, this marvelous novel??

Yes of course! Terry P. wrote so many very good books, you never can read all of them...But im try to.
my fave stories are "Witched abroad" and all this funny stuff about the 3witches Magrat Garlick, Granny Weatherwax, and Nanny Ogg.

If you're into vampires and demons, i recommend Darren Shan or Anne Rice.

Twilight! Don't remember who it's by, but it's like the awesomest book ever about vampires! Yay!

Also, books by Tamora Pierce, Trickster's Choice, Trickster's Queen, Song of the Lioness Quartet, Protector of the Small Quartet, The Immortals...good stuff.

Here's a movie from the 80's: 'The Last Chase' with Lee Majors (the six million dollar man). It's about an old timer fighter pilot trying to stop an old timer race car driver from crossing the country with his race car. Awesome!!!
