Was watching omamori himari, but got distracted and on episode 6, I finally managed to watch Magical girl lyrical nanoha, and just finished it. Very good, but I hate watching two animes at once, cos then I can't pay atttention to one of them (omamori in this case) and sort of stop watching it lol. I seriously need to stop doing that ;/

Well, you and I have similar tastes in anime. Another show I really enjoyed. If you liked this make sure to check out Ef ~ A Tale of Memories and Melodies~ as they are both similar in structure, although H20 has a bit more service in it. I loved the filler episode in the middle of H20, so random but so good. The show really did have a little bit of everything.

Sounds great I'll check it out. And yeah, for a lot of animes people complain about the filler episodes, but for this anime series I really enjoy it, like you said, lots of different genres sort of mixed in. Sad that its only 12 episodes, though.

I just finished watching the anime version of H2O- footprints in the sand. Again, another highly recommended anime with a great storyline. The whole things sort of based around the poem footprints in the sand so yeer Go watch now! Oh, and the theme songs addictive

Wow, quite a lot of mixed opinions about this topic, eh? Each to themselves though, everyones entitled to there own opinion and views. But if you're going to watch it, for me one of the nastiest most off putting parts was near the end of the series, where a girl gets cut up. They also have themes of child rape, so be prepared. Anyway, if you haven't tryed it, give it a shot And i guess if you don't like it, you don't like it. End of

Its rated 18 LOOOL :L But yes, i also see that perhaps its immature in a sense they throw in a lot of gore and nudity, but you as a viewer have to be mature about the gore and nudity itself. I think it was a bit silly of them to have put so much in the first episode, surely they must've realised this would put a lot of viewers off?? Never mindd.

Absoloutly fantastic movie, really good eye popping animation, music etc.
But, alas, I still believe the storyline had something.. Missing. It was a bit rushed the relationship between the two main characters, and you could see where theyd got a lot of inspiration from Ghibli.
That aside, the film is supeer dooper awesome. I somehow always compare it with the girl who leapt through time, perhaps because they both have strange animation styles which are gorgous. Btw, the opening sequence to Origin is freakkiing AMAZING!!! eenouggh, go watch

One of the best animes I've seen, sure it's gory, lots of nudity . But you have to be mature to watch it, I suppose.
Its not really all about that though. It has an absoloutly fantastic storyline, music, animation, everything, just be prepared for goryness. Anyway, its been said the first ep puts many audiences off ( not me ;D), but what they tend to do is sort of ease the seriesness of the anime by putting in some comedy etc.
But all in all, one of best animes I've seen, defanatly recommend

Darn it i was totally gonna make a new thing on Ni no kuni. But anyway, i dont think anyones posted the DS trailer, so heree, it looks freaking gorgous, so :
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qx8ukKlzeBE
They teamed up with Level 5, meaning it isnt literally a studio ghibli game. Level 5 are also known for fantastic visuals (they made professor layton, and from the trailer, gameplay looks similar).
The game apparantly comes with a book which tells you spells n stuff (see in trailer, how they draw symbols using stylus and there is a book next to the DS??)
It also features music from the LEEEGENDARY Joe Hisaishi.
People complain, but I think it looks fantastic, soo PAH !
