That, along with the Piano.

Does it have to have lyrics?
If not then it's This.
It's not "romantic" so to speak but it makes you think about alot of things. This song can only be found on the PC version of Oblivion.

--Chapter 4: Do you hate me?--

Shuria felt some relief from hitting Malakai. She really did not know why she reacted the way she did, but she could not help but laugh at the matter. Walking over to the bucket of water, she noticed a small metal object on the ground. She picked it up. It was heavy, circular, and made out of metal she could tell, but exactly what it was was obscured by some sort of blur; it was like looking far off to the distance on a hot day in a desert. This was very odd. She figured she would ask Malakai later, after he was back from collecting wood for the fire. They had both decided that was enough magic for one day.

Shuria sang for a while before Malakai got back. It was her comfort tool when she was lonely and had nothing to do. She really should be practicing her swordplay right now though, she knew, but she didn't feel up to it. Maybe tomorrow. It was around 15 minutes until the sun disappeared completely, and was getting colder. Shuria felt the hair on the back of her neck stand up. There was something near, something evil. And it was close. She could sense it.

She walked over to her horse attempting to look as if she did not notice. She grabbed the sword handle. The rest of the sword was hidden under the saddle. Keeping one hand on the sword, she started to pet the horse silently. She listened...

Malakai was on his way back. He had headed around a mile north to the beach he saw on the map and collected around 25 pounds worth of driftwood, and tied it to his back. Their campsite was just around the cliff to the next of him. He noticed, as well, that something was out of place about this. He did not know why. Everything seemed to be normal. He walked around the cliff, and found Shuria next to her horse. From his view he could see her hand on the hilt of the sword she carried with her. He knew something was not right. He acted as if he did not notice, and walked over to Shuria. He dropped the firewood next to her.

"You feel it too?" Shuria whispered, patting her horse.
"Yeah, something isn't right. You see anything?" Malakai responded, setting up the fire. Shuria peered over her horse inconspicuously, and noticed a shadow move behind a large boulder.
"Right next to the boulder."
"Yeah, I saw it. I'll take left, we'll charge on five."
Shuria's grip on the sword tightened.
"One."
Malakai grabbed the sharpest stick he could that looked like it would be an effective knife.
"Two."
The anticipation was almost too much to bear for the both of them.
"Three... Four..."
"Almost there..." Shuria thought.
"FIVE!" They rushed the boulder, sprinting as fast as they could. They saw the shadow move again, as though it was preparing for them. Shuria's sword met the shadow with a clang, and her fingers went numb. Her attack was countered, and she stepped back. Malakai, however, had the advantage, and stabbed the figure in the back. The figure was not human. It let out a sickening scream, and Malakai soon found his makeshift knife being pulled into it's body. He now knew what this figure was. It was a Seraphan. It must have followed them for miles, just to kill Malakai. Malakai stepped back, released his stick and kicked the Seraphan in the back of it's neck with all his might. There was a sickening crunch. He had shattered it's spine. It fell forward into the dim light, and they could now see it's head. It was, in fact, a human head. It was black, though, as if burned, and it was rotting. The smell was worse than sulfur and chlorine mixed together. Shuria stepped back again in great surprise.

"Okay, what was that thing? Malakai?" Shuria was breathless.
"It was a Seraphan. Now do you know why I ran?"
"Yeah. I would too. But just how many are there?"
"Take this one and multiply it by around two hundred. Now imaging flying ones, two times as many. That's why my kingdom fell."
"Are you the only one left? Are there others?"
"Yes. They escaped before me, I made sure. I was the last one out. I don't know where they are though."

They stood there for a while yet, and then went back to camp. They started the fire, and Malakai cooked some spare meat he carried with him. They ate well, and stared at the stars.

"Do you know why we look at the stars, Malakai?"
"Not really. What do you think?"
"I think it's because we'll get there, in the future, somehow. It's the only place we haven't been, aside from the sky itself. What do you think?"
"I think it's because the gods live there."
"I have a question to ask you, Malakai."
"What is it?"
"...Do you hate me?"
"No, no. Not in the slightest. I enjoy having your company. What fun is it travelling alone, anyway?"
--End of Chapter 4.--

--Chapter 5: Shall we go on?--

Malakai awoke early next morning to a beautiful sunrise. The fire had died down, and the embers were still glowing. Shuria was still asleep. Malakai walked over to her horse and took a loaf of the dried green herbs Shuria had made earlier. He took a sample. It was better than he expected.
"Tastes bad, doesn't it?" Shuria said. She had woken up, surprising Malakai a bit. He thought she wouldn't sleep well after seeing the Seraphan. Apparently he was wrong.
"Actually, I like it. It tastes good. How can you not like it?"
"You like that stuff? Gross!"
"Whatever."
Malakai noticed a small medallion in her hand.
"Where did you get that?"
"I found it on the ground last night. It's odd, though. You can't see into the center. It's almost like some sort of magical wind is around it. I thought you'd know what it was. You're the magic guy. Here."
She tossed Malakai the medallion. He could see it clearly. It was a picture of a mountain, but it seemed familiar to him. He did not know how. Nor did he know why Shuria could not see it.
"How can you not see it? I can see it fine."
"That's what I'd like to know. Well, since you can see it, what's it look like?"
"It's just a picture of a mountain. But, somehow, it seems a bit familiar."
"So for me there's some kind of wind around it, and for you it's just a mountain... What if it's a sign?"
"I doubt it."
"You never know."
"Let's look for a mountain with clouds and a lot of wind, then, if you're so eager to get started."
"Why?"
"You're asking me why? You just suggested it."
"Whatever."
Shuria pointed to a very tall mountain in the east with jagged rocks and steep cliffs.
"Well, I guess that's where we're headed. I didn't think it would be so easy to find."
"Yeah. Take a closer look. It's easy to find, but it won't be easy to climb." It seemed almost impossible to climb. Malakai, however, loved challenges. He thought it would be exciting.
"I... uh, I'm not..."
"You're not good with heights, are you Shuria?"
"No."
"Well, stay here."
"I can't let you go alone. You've never been farther than here!"
Malakai knew that if he said anything further it would spark an argument. Now that he realized it, he didn't know much at all about Shuria. Maybe she would tell him something about her. After all, he did tell her about him. Well, mostly anyway. He'd talk to her after he helped pack up camp. He'd start with the big things, and move to the smaller things. It'd take less time to pack that way. He started with Shuria's rawhide travel pack, and moved on to her horse's saddle, packing up the blankets and a few other items. The last thing to get was Shuria's small black case...
"I'll get that, Malakai. Thanks for the help."
"No, it's ok. I'll get it."
"I don't want you handling that right now. It's... important to me."
At the moment Shuria picked it up, it fell open. The odd part was, it fell open when it was fully locked. The case held two leather gauntlets and a small letter. The gauntlets looked to be new, while the letter was quite old. The gauntlets had intricate symbols, and a single blue gem was implanted in both gauntlets on the back of the hand.
"...Gauntlets, and a letter? So, Shuria, what's the story behind those?"
--End of Chapter 5--
--Chapter 6: A lucky encounter.--
"Why did you open it?! I told you not to touch them!"
"What do you mean? I didn't do anything! I swear it!"
"Liar!"
Shuria was infuriated. The only explanation for the sudden opening of the case was magic. Even she tried to pick its locks, but it would not open.

Sorry I haven't been on in a LONG time. Life got busy and I had things to attend to.
Anyhow this is my story.
Short notice: If you like this, be sure to post.
Also, this is the "Rough Draft" of the final story. So if you have any hints or opinions, share them with me. I want to get this published, and I need it to be good!

.::Magic through the Wind::.

Chapter 1: Why I ran.

He ran, his lungs and legs burning, he had to get away from them. Else he, and the kingdom he lived in, would fall into darkness forever. He was now close to the main gate that led out of the kingdom, to a world he had only imagined what would be like from stories of the few travelers who came to the kingdom. Only a few more steps to freedom! He told himself. Finally he burst through the gate, only to find that he was in a small cave, dimly lit from the sunset outside. He slowed to a jog, and made his way outside. He was exhausted, and passed out before he could see the outside world.

He awoke staring up at the deep blue sky. There were no clouds, and it was hot. He didn't bother getting up, instead he lay there, looking around him. He realized that he must have been asleep for the whole night, as it was no longer sunset. He soon noticed that there were items next to him. It was a rawhide travel pack, very old. Next to it was a wooden bucket most likely filled with water. There was also a small black case.

"You know, you're heavier than you look." A mysterious female voice came from behind him. He turned his head around to see a silhouette of a girl. He could not see any features of her, though, as the sun was directly behind her. He figured that it must be dawn because of the sun's position.

"Who are you?" He asked.
"No, the question is, who are you?" She replied. "You know, I found you asleep in front of a cave at night, and I carried you all the way here. You owe me, you know. You could've freezed to death."

"Well... Thank you... I guess... My name is Malakai." Malakai was utterly confused, and could not think of much more to say.

"So, Malakai, where are you from?" She inquired.
"--Where are we?" Malakai said, suffering from confusion and slight panic.
"That's not what I asked you." She said with a sigh. "And for your information, we're in the middle of nowhere. Hell, I don't even know where we are. Now, tell me, where are you from?"

Malakai wondered if he should tell her where he was from. He wondered what she would think of him if he told her.

"You wouldn't believe me if I told you." He said, a bit nervous.
"Oh really? Try me." She said.
"I come from the City of Legends."
"Wait, you mean THE City of Legends?" She was surprised.
"Yes."
"Wow, I though the place never existed, I thought it was just a tale told to little children! Tell me where it is, I must see it!"
"I... I can't tell you. I'm sorry."
"Why not?"

He laid his head back down on the soft sand, and stared at the sky. He could not risk going back to the Kingdom. Especially with the Seraphan there. It would be the death for the both of them.

"Nevermind." She could tell that it was a subject he did not wish to talk about.

"Now that I think of it, why were you asleep at the end of the cave? And why did it look like you were in a fight?"

"I ran."

"Ran? From what?"

"...The seraphan..."

"Seraphan? What is 'Seraphan'?"

"The Seraphan are the servants of the dark god Azura. They are... or were... once people like me. But, then,--"

"--They sold their soul to Azura?"

"Yes."

"You've been laying there for quite a while. Why don't you get up? Here, I'll help."

Malakai was still very sore from running away from the Seraphan, as was he weak from lack of water or food. He struggled to get up, but only managed to start to stand when he fell down again. The woman helped Malakai to a nearby rock to lean on. The pain in his legs was excruciating.

"I never caught your name. What is it?" Malakai asked with a short grunt.

"It's Shuria." She answered.

--End of chapter 1--

--Chapter 2--

.:Where are we headed?:.

Malakai could now see Shuria. She was a beautiful girl, most likely 19 years of age. She had green eyes, and soft black hair that ran down to her shoulders. She seemed to be a bright and vibrant person. Yet, there was a hint of sadness in her eyes. He wanted to find out why, but soon decided not to ask. Nobody really likes to talk about things that sadden or anger them. It was human nature. Shuria got up and retrieved the bucket he had seen earlier.

"What is that... thing?" Malakai questioned, looking at it curiously.
"What, this? It's a thick herbal paste made from a mixture of grass, tree bark, and salt. Don't worry, you won't drink it. It's supposed to be used on scrapes and gashes to clean them and make them heal faster. It burns, but it's worth the pain. It can also be turned into a sort of bread when dried out."
Shuria reached into the pouch on her hip, and pulled out what looked like a green piece of flat bread.
"Want some?" Shuria asked with a slight giggle.
"--No thanks. I, uh, I'll pass."
"Yeah. It doesn't really taste all that great, but it lets you live when you have nothing else to eat. But you're still going to need that paste on those cuts."
"No, I'm all set."
She brought the bucket closer.
"No, really, I'm O.K. Look."
Malakai pointed to where the cuts and gashes once were. What replaced them were scars.
"How... How did you... How did you do that? Who are you?" Shuria said in amazement.

Malakai then told Shuria some of what his life in the kingdom was like. The daily business and trade, the healers teachings that he received 3 times a week, and also about how the degrading of the kingdom forced them to adapt and become some of the most athletic people in the world. They were forced to climb, jump great distances, and face certain death daily. Especially him, as he was a deliverer. The deliverer's job is just what people might think: He moved supplies and letters around the kingdom. It was an essential task given to few people, and even then people still tried to get away from their duty because of the risk of death. He, however, loved his job.

"Amazing! I'd never even guessed life in the City of Legends was that hard! Where else have you been besides the City?" Shuria was astounded at his tales.
"Nowhere else." Malakai stated.
"No, I mean, where else away from the kingdom have you been? What's the farthest you'd been from home?"
"Right where you found me."
"You can't be serious."
"I'm serious."

The expression on Shuria's face was indescribable. It was a mixture of confusion, amazement, and disbelief at how far he'd been. She stared at him as though he was either insane, or very sheltered.

"...What?" Malakai asked after a long silence.
"There's no way that you've never been away from your City."
"Look, never mind that, what do we do now?"
"We head east. To Algatha."
"I thought you were lost!"
"I have my ways." Shuria said smugly, with a smile.

Shuria made a loud whistle. After a long silence, Shuria sat down.

"And now, we wait." Shuria said.
"What was that for? Wait for what?" Malakai thought the whistle was completely useless, and arbitrary. Shuria did not answer, only sat and looked off into the distance. After a while, a small cloud of dust was visible in the distance. A short while later, a black shape appeared in front of it. The shape was obscured by the heat reflecting off the sand. It seemed to be moving closer. It was a black horse. Shuria greeted it with an inaudible mumble, and hopped on.
Malakai started to approach the horse.
"Uh-uh. You walk. And, you get to carry my things. The whole way."
Malakai stood there, silent, staring at Shuria as though she was crazy.
"Hey, I saved you. You do owe me." She said with a smile.

--End of Chapter 2.--
--Chapter 3: Are we there yet?--

The journey to Algatha would take longer than Malakai, or evern Shuria, had guessed. What Shuria did not tell Malakai is that she could barely read a map. Shuria had taken a wrong turn, and made them head in the direction towards Arcaria. Every so often, Shuria would look at her map, and point in different directions. Malakai observed, and soon realized that her directions were purely at random. he could say something, but decided not to. At least, not right now. Besides, travelling was the best thing that had happened to him before. He wanted to explore the unknown world. It was getting dark.

"Let's stop here for the night. You can put your things down now." Shuria said as she got off her horse.
"Good idea. Hey, uh, do you know exactly where we are?" Malakai asked.
"You can put that black case right beside my horse. And yes, I do know where we are."
"You sure? Where?"
Shuria pulled out her map and walked over to Malakai.
"We are right here." She pointed in the dead center of the map. They were clearly not there, as to the east there would be mountains. Instead, the east held nothing but barren sand.
"No, we're not."
"Yes we are, we--"
"Are not there. Do you see the mountains to the east on the map?"
"Yes."
"Do you see mountains to the east of us right now?"
"Well, uh..."
"No. You see the moons position?"
"Yes."
"Now count 3 stars to the west."
"Okay..."
"Now what constellation is that?"
"The warrior."
"If we were right where you thought we were, that would be to our south." Malakai looked to where Algatha was on the map.
"So?"
"So, if we were heading toward Algatha, the Warrior would be to our south. Instead..." Malakai grabbed the map and pointed near to the top left of the map. "...We're heading toward Arcaria."

"And what do you suppose we do now? How do you know all this if you have never traveled before?" Shuria questioned.
"I read, and had lessons."

Shuria, now tired and frustrated, dropped the whole conversation. She grabbed 2 blankets from her horse saddle and threw one at Malakai. She then laid down and pulled the blanket over her. Which is when she realized that they had not eaten nor drank anything the entire day.

"I hear through the tale that some of you had magic, now that I remember it. Is that how you healed so quickly?"
"...Yes... Why?"
"If you have magic can you just make water appear in your hands? You can, can't you."
"Yes, why?"
"I want some water."
"It's not that easy. I can't just make water poof out of thin air. I'd need a substitute. But, since you didn't drink all day, I guess I can make you some."
"Really?"
"If, you say please."
"Please."

"Okay. Lend me your arm."
"Wha-- What are you doing?!"

They were instantly immersed in a bright blue light. Shuria's right arm started to tingle, then sting. She looked at her right arm. Just as she did, the light vanished and everything turned back to normal. Shuria felt Malakai release her right arm. Her arm was red from heat, and there was a light burn on her skin where Malakai's hand had been. To the left of her was a bucket filled with water. In rage, Shuria stood up and ran toward her horse. She grabbed a sword, and ran towards Malakai.

"WOAH! STOP!" Malakai was in shock at her reaction.
"WAIT"
Malakai started to run, but just as he did, Shuria dropped the sword. Her arm hurt too much to move more.
"Damn you! What did you do to me?" Shuria screamed.
"I told you I needed a substitute! You were the one who let me do it! It only lasts for a short time!"
"You could've warned me!"
As soon as Shuria said that, her arm felt better. In fact, much better than before Malakai made water. Shuria was astounded. She then moved toward Malakai, and then... SLAP! She hit him in the face.

--End of Chapter 3.--

I've got all GH except for Aerosmith.
I play on Expert. I challenge you to Rooftops on Expert.

I have no reason to question your ability, but your taste is another matter.

Okay, what songs do you like? Rooftops is a favorite of mine since 2006 when it came out.
Anyhow other than that my second favorite song is sweet child o' mine.

Highlight: I'm joining the Army right after High School!
Lowlight: I broke my shin. No joke.
I'm in a cast right now with crutches. 'Tis a pain.
I still have to go to school too! :-(
I need a hug.

My shin.

HL: AWESOME day today.
If I posted it it would take up 2 pages by itself.

Lowlight: My sister is here for a month for college winter break.
OH EM GEE.
Now I have 2 sisters I have to deal with again.
And they hog my Xbox 360, which I bought with MY OWN MONEY.
I bought all the games for it, as well as my own Xbox Live. I've invested over $600 total for it.
