I sat on the bench right in the middle and crossed my arms. Suddenly I had a plan. A big bright shiny one! All sparkly and nice.
I looked up at Icchan, "So. About this torii. I have a friend who knows where it is." I raised an eyebrow in what I hoped was a slightly superior way but which might have just come out a bit like a funny twitch, "Interested?"

I was coughing and spluttering and Icchan got very close and began dabbing at my skirt. Eh?
Careful! You're nearly...!! I coughed again, going even redder, it's okay! It's okay!
I raised a hand to stop him but he was quick and wiped at my mouth too.
"Ah... er... arigato... I'm fine now."

I jumped up, my bento fell on the floor. "Ah no! I'm so sorry! Ah!"
Baka! I looked helplessly at him then at Sadoru feeling like I was totally useless.

While I was thinking about that I looked up at Icchan. Beyond him the girls were chatting and I noticed he was frozen in place, his eyes looking at Mai. I looked at him. He had the most weird look on his face. Like he was partly asleep and partly intent. In a dream. Weirdo.

I'm sorry. I posted. I think I was holding everyone up but I thought about it and thought about it and couldn't work out what sort of post to do with Chi, Hibiki and Icchan all directing attention at Na-chan.
So I just did some Na-chan stupidness. I hope it works. Thump her if she's just too mad.

I even made shapes in the air with my hands in case he didn't know what a bench was or how to use it, "Eating lunch!" You sound like a complete idiot.
"So, er... haha, I er... I'll go see him! And you can..." Kissing My face went crimson, "You can... do... something else! Yes?" I gave him a big smile which must have made me look insane, especially as I was backing away while talking.
She wants to kiss him! Ohmygoshhowyummy!
I managed to walk backwards and sideways over to Icchan and the others, still grinning idiotically at Hibiki and Chi who was retreating and looking scared.
"Oh Icchan! Hi! I was just kissing, I mean I was just. Um. Hello!" I beamed at him, then at the others.

As we walked I kept an eye on Chi. I had been pretty down when I left class but her company had cheered me up lots, she had a fun spark in her all the time and she always cheered me up.
I caught her smiling to herself as she walked and I wondered what was on her mind. I focused hard, watching carefully to see if anything would come from her but nothing did, except a small nice floaty feeling that I couldn't place at all.
I wondered if she was thinking about the things I was thinking of, so I asked her if there was anyone she liked.
She blushed a little and wouldn't meet my eyes.

Hibiki just in front of us had done a stumble-thing and bent down. I stopped on one side of him and Chi went round the other side.

I've had a think about it and decided Na-chan will want to join the others. It would be out of character for her not to want to be involved in a bigger group, so NC, if you want to avoid the group and go off together it would need to be Chi's call.
I suppose she could have a shyness attack with Hibiki being there.
I have a post ready that takes us to join the others if you want to head that way.
