I don't think there was. I just think they felt the other lines seemed better. They had to be true to the translation.
BTW, why are you watching the dub anyway? Watch it in Japanese with subtitles.

It sure did. What did you expext. EGM actually respects good games. I am definately getting Legends when it comes out. It's a GC exclusive too!! YEAH!
I'm addicted to Sega's PSO right now. Skies will probly be better. I tend to like Turn-Based RPGs over Realtime. I own almost every RPG for gamecube, due to the fact they have so few and I only buy Nintendo systems.
Can't wait for Zelda: Wind Walker either. I don't like the cell shading, but at least preordering it gets you a port of Ocarina of Time for GC and the Ura Zelda expansion that was supposed to be on the 64DD unit. It has been renamed Master Quest, but it should rock. It changes the dungeons to make them much harder and there are new enemies. That should be great!

None of you speak Japanese, do you? Heh heh...
Ghibli is NOT a Japanese word. Look at the kana charts. There is no such syllable for "Ghi" nor "Bli."
Japanese use Katakana (The kana chart that looks like pointy things, for the people new to Japanese.) for forign words, or "gairaigo." (Pretty sure that's the spelling. Need to check my textbook.)
Many letters are not even in the Japanese syllabary. C, X, L... Japanese do not have an "alphabet" as you know of it. Trust me, it'll take some time to learn, but it is worth it.
Ghibli is actually an Italian word. It is pronounced "Jee-blee."
However, Japanese say it as "ji-bu-ri." The vowels always sound the same in Japanese. ("A" sounds like the a in "Bay," "I" sounds like the double e's in "Free," "U" sounds like the u in "Fruit," "E" sounds like the e in "Set," and "O" sounds like the o in "Bow." And that's it. Pronouncing Japanese doesn't get much harder than that. Try reading it, haha.)
I do not know if your browsers support Shift-JIS, but here is the katakana for Ghibli: ジブリ.
And if you don't already know, Japanese cannot pronounce "Studio" either. It's "sutajio jiburi." (su-ta-ji-o)
I hope this helps. I am not fluent in Japanese by any means. Not yet. I won't be for awhile. I have, however, been studying it for two years, and I do know a significant ammount. I still have a long way to go... But if you need any more help, feel free to contact me. If you want to study Japanese, just IM me.
(Edit: It seems your database won't support Shift-JIS. They came out as numbers... Very odd. Sorry.)

Miyazaki does not do sequels... "The Cat Returns" is the only exception I know of, and Miyazaki didn't do it.

Hey, I'll give you free traffic. I'm planning a Mononoke site, but we're not gonna use it until then. It's top google search result. I'll CNAME it to your domain if you like.
We had used it to our forums, but our dumb ISP blocked port 80. Now we have to run off a non standard port, so that domain is useless at the moment...

Mononoke, definately. Why? Well, because I think San is cute. XD
Well, it's not my favorite Ghibli film, but out of the above, I'd definately say it was the best, IMO. The plot was great, I didn't think it was strange in any way. (Although many people disagree with me on that...)

I wouldn't mind having that... Pretty expensive though. I imagine I could sell/trade Princess-Mononoke.com for one, but that would be a hard choice.
