Last week I saw The Woman in Black in the cinema, with Daniel Radcliffe. Wow, that movie was scary and Daniel did a good job, I forgot Harry Potter after the first 10 minutes so that's a good thing.

Also saw 'Luther' with Joseph Fiennes, a bit of a empty movie, a bit flat, they could have make such a fascinating story better and more deep, but ah well..nice to see Inspiring figure Luther surely was ^^

^^ Oh I want to see that one as well, Puss in Boots is such a funny character. I'm curious about the movie I adore the Shrek movies, saw them maaaany times!

I've watched lots of movies lately since I have no school for the last two months and only working 2 days in a week unfortunately
But anyways, watched;

* Robin Hood (Russel Crowe version)
* The Tudors season 3, episodes 1-4 (not a movie but fair enough ;-) )
* Spirited Away (with my boy and he LOVED it, yay! Another Ghibli fan hahaha)
* Never Let Me Go
* The Crimson Petal and the White, episodes 1 and 2

Lately watched 'Alice in Wonderland' (Tim Burton version) with my love again. He never saw it and loved it, so do I. Of course, Burtons' work is always so original, weird at times and funny

Today I've watched the miniseries of 'The Tenant of Wildfell Hall' and it was heavy, brilliantly acted and romantic, especially at the happy ending I loved this movie based on the story of Anne Bronte as well.

The art of forgiveness - Maria Mena

Her new album is very beautiful, sung and written straight from the soul. Her lyrics are also really good, this song really is a story, almost a poem, very dramatically.

Oh yeahh, Russell Crowe indeed <3
I also really like Gladatior.

I watched 'Nordwand' (English title: the North Face) with my favourite German actor Benno Fürmann. It was a spectacular, dramatically filmed story of 2 teams of German friends and Austrian guys who are trying to climb the 'Nordwand' Eiger. A mountain that no one ever climbed up yet, or came down alive...

It was really really good! Exhiting, sad, dramatical, good acting, convincing, captivating. I LOVED it but I really had to ''recover'' after watching this..

Oh I am absolutely in LOVE with that movie! Tell me, how do you find the book? I want to read it as well.

I am reading a classic at the moment: Wuthering Heights

Due to a busy and stressful life (school, work, social life, sports..) I haven't watched a lot of movies lately.
But today I found some time, so I watched 'Guinevere'.

I bought it a few weeks ago for like 2 euros or something, didn't expect much of it.
And well, it's good I didn't expected much, 'cause it was a low-budget movie with a bad soundtrack, and not all the actors were okay, but the story is well known and always interests me. So it was okay, nice to see once.

I've also found the time to start with the new series, Camelot. Despite all the bad reviews and opinions about Camelot, I actually really liked it. I think -so far I've only seen episode one- it is still original and I love the acting skills of Eva Green in this series. She is brilliant as the seductive, angry, misunderstood Morgan. who seeks her revenge.

I've watched the Lion King (at home, not the new 3D version in the cinema) and I liked it even more than when I was a kid I think. I notice now, when I'm a lot older, that there are lots of ''hidden'' meanings in the movie, which were made for the parents and older people. The movie is a timeless classic suitable for all ages. And..okay, I admit it, I still cried when Scar dropped Mufasa off the cliff and let him die, it's just so sad and unfair

Then I've also watched Pirates of the Carribean 4: On Stranger Tides. I wasn't expecting much of a fourth part, after the second part for me it was enough. And like my expectations I found the movie uninspired and the jokes wheren't original anymore. Although Johnny Depp played a magnificent Jack Sparrow again and Penélope Cruz was convincing as his ex-girlfriend sort of girl xD as well, I found the movie a bit of a waste for the other three, or actually the first two. They were new, original, funny and exhiting! The scene with the mermaids was beautifully made though..

Thank you all for the sweet words, it surely helped me to think it over. But I think I forgot to mention that I already have a diplom in Tourism and Leisure Management, got that when I was 20 years old.
Now I am 22 and school feels like kindergarten sometimes, haha...you know.

But thanks so much guys, I am school right now, waiting for my next lesson, I have to wait three hours for it and all that waiting makes me even more tired and gloomy, so that's definitely not good. I will definitely follow your advice and watch Spirited Away, I am even looking forward to watch some Ghibli masterworks again, it's been a while..

But, thanks guys! Of course I know my parents want to do what is best for me and wanting me to believe in myself and convincing me that I can do this. But that doesn't mean it's not hard when they always are on ''the other side'' when it comes to opinions and ideas about the future..

Ah well...we'll see how things go. I never was a ''go-getter'' but I know it's for the best to try changing things.

I tried it, but like you said, only for a day. At home, with a yoga instructions book and in my small room. I liked the 'excercises' and it made me calm, strong and fit. But now when I'm so busy, I am just tired and I have no one who joins me in this, so..well..no support.
But after reading this post, I feel like I shoul try it again
Maybe take a lesson at a gym somewhere, to try..

I'm in such a gloomy mood these days, that I just need someone who can cheer me up. My family can't do that, clearly...my mom and dad only say I shouldn't complain so much and say I'm just acting stupid, overreacting and thinking negative about everything. I know it's partly true, but I think, maybe I fear, I also struggle with myself, with who I really am, and I just need some love, I think. I'm feeling lonely, I feel like there aren't people like me in my company.

Overall; I am thinking so negative about school. Just had my first day at school again, and after hearing the programma I just want to quit, it's no fun anymore, how I long back to my holiday job, which was fun with my co-workers, in a steady environment and with a steady scedule and no homework, and making money.
But..it would be a shame to quit school...ah man, so many thoughts...I wish I had someone to talk to about this, someone who would actually understand me

Adele- Hiding my heart

What a beautiful song, even better than Someone Like You (and that's hard in my opinion, because SLY is sooo touching)

I've only really just started listening to Adele (before i just heard from T.v advertisements and stuff) and you can really feel the raw emotion from her music, more so than most musicians, i believe.

I totally agree with you on that. It's a shame the radio and tv is playing her music SO often, I think her songs should be something special, but at least, they finally play some real music again So I shouldn't complain.
With real music I mean music where the artist puts in all her/his emotions, and yes, she shows a lot of raw emotion in her voice, lyrics and melodies.

Another great singer! > Heather Nova
Listening to her song ''Heal"

It's very hard to choose between so many beautiful and especially original films...

But I choose for ''Howl's Moving Castle'', because of the original story, the very interesting characters, the fantasy creatures and beautiful drawings, but mainly because of the love story between the irresistable and sexy, somewhat feminine Howl and the sweet, caring, developing Sophie
Most of all, I can identify with Sophie, it's just the complete package.

And...everytime I watch it (think I watched it for like 10 times now?), I discover or see something new in it.
I just never get tired of HMC!

I agree with FFF! It is no shame at all, and your time will come. I am sure of that, maybe even sooner than you think Why rushing into such important things if you're unsure about it? You have your whole life in front of you, dude

But..I know the feeling of loneliness and never been dating. I started dating my ex when I was almost 19
And he was my first and I think only love. After him I dated *M I told you all about in the love thread, but I wasn't in love with him, trying to force my feelings, but that is just horrible and doesn't work at all. Oh no, rather wait and be sure than rush into it and having regrets afterwards.
