Monster House hasn't been released in the U.K yet, but isn't that the film that's in 3D, and you have to wear funky glasses? Is that bit good?

it has been in USA. Yes, I saw it with the blue and red 3D glasses. It wasn't that good. The monster house itself was not reality, but the things that could have been in reality, like (possible spoilers) when he had to swing on that chain and throw the firecracker right into the chimney - a ten-year-old boy could not had done that!

well, you're right about the Ghibli films. It's just that the parts that are MEANT to be realistic, just doesn't seem like it. But i guess you are right! The 3d effects were not the whole way through - only in som parts.
