I run a theatre in the Ca area and I really want to promote the crap out of Howl's moving castle when it comes out. The only thing is I haven't seen this movie and can only really go off what I've been reading on it. If you went to a theatre to watch this movie what kinda promotional stuff would you want to see?
I'm hoping if we can create a strong promotion then do some advertisements for this movie so it can have a really strong release.
Any advice or ideas would be so greatly appreciated. Promoting this movie is out choice because I loved his past movies.

Well if it's being distributed by Disney, maybe you could makei t clear as such so as to make it seem more approachable for people who aren't used to anime...

I saw the movie in theaters and i loved it !!
It was more comedic than the other Ghibli films
and it was different from the book Howl's Moving Castle
yet it was a good show
I wan't to watch it real bad again
I recomend you show some stuff that portrays the action as well as the comedic portion....
but it is more an adventure movie to an action
and it is also a romance
There is a part in there it looks like he's doing Alchemy... and that may trigger some peoples interest
It also may help to see what people have done with it to make AMV's (Anime Music Videos)
AMV's is a great place to see wether your interested in an anime or not
(not all of the AMV's are made well... some are being made by beginners so it's good to watch more than one)
You also might want to bring up the fact that Howls Moving Castle is a book too.
