True, since 'anime' is the Japanese word that means 'animation' and is in fact taken from it...

But as we are not Japanese but are fans of animation specifically made in Japan as opposed to 'anime' from elsewhere in the world, our focus here is a little different, ne?

And yeah, oddly enough, I'd say 'Airbender' is anime, as is the Korean produced product (e.g. 'Sky Blue' I mentioned elsewhere) because they are produced in a clear Japanimation style.

And maybe 'Japanimation' is what we are talking about here?
