A cute girl behaving like a cat... I feel that she is gonna to turn herself into the cat woman of the Batman movies  . If that's the case, she isn't really as cute as she seems to be...
Anyway isn't this a skecth by 平松禎史, the key animator of The Cat Returns? According to recent news, the animator will be the director of the to-be-animated "Ghost Rhapsody."

This is just my curiousity.....
I suppose all of our country is using British Style traffic, with car running forward is on the left side of the street... but I recall that Chihiro Father's Audi car is left steer that supposed to be in country w/ American Style traffic.... and I recall that many Japanese movie (live-action nor Animes) also fairly use a left steered car...
is there no steer position standard/regulation in Japan

In Japan, the domestic car has a right handle.
the majority of imported car has the steer that same side as original country. like Mercedes ord Ford, there are the maker which prepares a right steer and a left steer.
the person who chooses the left handle for self satisfaction, such as "I purchased a imported car."

How about the police? they don't ticket those left-steered car? or there really no regulation for steer position in Japan?
Is there any other reason for people in Japan to choose left-steer car? perhaps bcoz the person is lefty, not familiar to right-steer, or is it simply for show-off?
And so when audiences in Japan watched Chihiro's Father drive a left-steer Audi then, is Chihiro's Father considered a person who love to show off?
If things here are easily as that, I can just order a Hyundai Coupe w/ left-steer and no police here will consider that as a problem (just problem on money to buy the car itself...  )
btw, kuroineko... do HK also permit left-steer car to run on street? I think this is a little strange... since HK and China are considered as one country now... but China uses American driving style and HK uses British driving style...

No. It's against the law to drive a left-steer car. But you can still buy it as a "collectable" if you like. Many billionaires keep a few in their homes to show off...
At the meantime, we are still practising "one country two systems." Mainland China is a socialist state, while we are still heavily influenced by the Western capitalism. That explains the different legal practices in the two places. Generally the centre of our legal system is the British Common Law (though with the China-drafted Basic Law hanging high above it), while mainland China has her own set of laws that are vastly different from ours. And not even the central government in China dare to change HK into a socialist city (may provoke Britain?). Well, at least not very soon...

in your countries, it meaning that position of the steering wheel is decided with law it does? in Japan, it has not been decided with low. of course, a steering is necessary to staying in the car.
if there is a steering wheel at center, how they will be?
like the McLaren F1
or the Messerschmitt, the car which drove also Mr.Miyazaki at one time.
when i think from the several interview of Mr.Miyazaki. he does not think the man who drives Audi as the friend.

Yes, I talking about left handle car... not car run on left side...
In Indonesia... well... I've seen some off-road jeeps or pre-World War cars that still here are still left handle.. and they legal to run on streets...
however, every import car (including Mercedes-Benz) are becoming right handle here....
but traffic outside the city in Indonesia is wild!! Like roller-coaster when you inside the car! So if you drive car with left handle in that kind of street... you'll die in accident for sure!! this is probably why left-handle car only permitted to run inside a city only....

I think the steer position already set for the driver to easily check out the situation to takeover another car...
this is also incl. the wiper position... for British style the wiper blade will sweep water to right side.. while the American style is the opposite... But strangely... Peugeot 206 in my country has its original wiper blade (sweep to left) while it's already right-handle
we do have a standard... but they are flexible (depend on how do you manage the police )...
Oh I would like to revise that people in Indonesia is brand-oriented. So having a "Mercy" (the way we call Mercedes-Benz) or BMW is already a status eventho the car are right handle.. left handle is for those who love automobile.. but for billionaires' heir only since it's a very high priced hobby.. (car here are 3 times original price w/ 200% tax)
and I don't think McLaren F1 nor Messerschmitt permitted to run here...
I wonder if the people from the country which use left handle also feel the same when they look at car with right handle... do they also collect it to show-off
