our site does not have an image or alphabetical recognition mode and so it gets hit typically by a spam bot. but as our site is quite less popular so it does not get down everyday. But it went down just a few days ago. Something must be done

No, that's normal.
And captcha program is hardly foolproof either. I know of many forums using captcha still having spambot problems.

Is that true i mean i actually freak when i can not get into tavern and more because after talking to UO my thought about teragon is true so...
there is more advanced program than captcha there are programs that ask you intilligent questions like which one is ellipse or what is goku's son's name and write that reverse.
But i know everything[ that we can access ] can be broken by codes.
