There's no difference. The 24 sec clip is a bonus extra included with the DVD ONLY(!) while First Press is still available. Therefore it's also being called a First Press.

Just a quick one:

Amazon Japan seem to have "aquired" more of the 1/24 2 Disc versions of HMC. Last week they 1/24 frame/cube was only available with the 4 disc version.

I strongly suspect the draw will not apply to discs sold to customers outside of Japan.

If they were, I'd be hoping for one or all three of the posters. Having leafed through my Art of.. book several times since the weekend, I feel that Ghibli's artistic standards have rarely been higher.

The young Sophie, old Sophie and Castle posters all just make me want to run, not walk, back to the cinema!

Thanks for the images and explanation once again nanashi - you've done us old a proud service in these threads!

You know, I have never seen a susuwatari that is 1/10 as amazing, who hides a mini PC in a hidden corner of Mei's house, and continously provide us with the most up-to-date information of the Ghibli world.

As you all know, that's Nanashi 8] .

Anyway, back to the topic, I would really like to get the 3D metallic puzzle of the castle. It seems to be pretty cool. I wonder what is the actual size. The posters are also great too. I already have one (old Sophie walking towards the castle), and it would make a wonderful collection if I had the remaining two.

I just cannot get the mascot part... How are the electric guitars and drums related to Ghibli/Howl?

But well, I haven't ordered the R2 Howl DVD. Time to stop daydreaming...



P.S. Nanashi suddenly finds himself in a sticky situation when posting the Miyazaki/Ghibli news. Poor him... But I am sure he doesn't mind it.

he likes a dice game that use a pair of dice and a rice bowl, for former time. the game called "chin-chiro-rin".
