went crazy watching AzuDai all the time yesterday..
then i took a break, and watched Champloo..
am sooo missing my ipod.. might get one for me bday (Feb 15)

Wow I just figured that mom ordered me bunch of Ghibli-films for christmas
(Laputa, Porco, Only yesterday).
I'm also gettin' a laptop, and some totoro stuff

My parents wanna get me a
japanese box set of all the
ghibli films and an entire box
set of FMA and the movie(I want special addition).
Then some Chibi's(my word for Totoro now)
so my other Chibi's not alone.

I was supposed to pay off for it,
then I did something to the keyboard
and internet card. I only had it for
4 weeks!!
I'm watching clips of that Samurai Chamloo
show(I call it Samurai Shampoo, I can't say
it the way it's supposed to). Looks cool,
like Bleach.

i want to get some ghibli films..but for soem reason my mom doesn't want me to ask for anime...wierd...oh well if i get money i will buy some stuff on my own.

aint ever seen bleach...
heard its good.
still, its samurai champloo is prob betterquality animation, as bleach is a long ongoing and quickly produced series, probably featuring quite a lot of still frames...
Samurai champloo, in terms of animation quality, is probably some of the best you can get nowadays..
And its funny too! the action is ******* amazing aswell...

Yeah, I did some research on it, and the
animation is very good. Better than most.
Bleach is way too long..take me forever.
Then again Naruto's 200 and something.
nanafan, does your mom like your interest in
anime? Or does she not want you to
waste your money on it. My mom let's me,
cause she likes my face when I see the
prices on the DVD's for Ghibli films or 4
episodes of a show for 30$. hehe..

My parents were like that for a long time too. They didn't say "don't ask for anime", but when half of my list is anime and I don't get one single DVD, it is pretty obvious. Anyways, they got over it, so maybe your mom will too.

And yours is atleast a month in a
half from mine, kittycatjess.
My parents don't mind the anime
cause I'm usually just trying to finish
my Ghibli collection, and looking at other titles.
I talk alot about FMA too, cause you could
show me a real life horror movie, I'd still
wouldn't be scared of it, yet it suprised
my mom I really wanted FMA. Still, she never
said anything against it, just asked if
I wanted a box set of all the show and the
movie. But she did forbid me from evr going to
Japan, atleast, not until I'm an adult..

I will buy my kids animes but the only time I would say no is if the price is unreasonable.
If you're planning to get your own Ghibli DVD's, the cheapest one I've seen in the US will be Wal-Mart and Meijers. Sometimes you may find used ones at Gamestop or EB Games.
I can't really relate to other parents who don't buy animes coz I'm one of those mom's who loves animes. However, maybe your parents will let you have them once they realize it's not that big of a deal.
