I see you guys are still in the thick of the "boring" episodes. I havent watched the series in three years, but from what I remember the ending was worth it. Hopefully you'll all pull through- I almost quit after episode 20. Basically, without giving anything huge away, try get to episode 40

It's a Shoujo series (basically, stuff for girls), about a girl with throat cancer aspiring to be a singer for the sake of her love.
And fizzy's right, the series isn't very engaging until halfway through the series when everything isn't all cute and rosy anymore. If you can get past the first half, the rest are well worth it.
Anyway, ep14 is basically about Ooshige, Mitsuki's manager, being sick, and a clumsy substitute manager takes her place. Nothing to talk about really; in fact, contains a lot of "unrealism", stuff I don't like about anime.

I just watched 14 - 15 - 16.
As you say Roar, ep.14 you can forget about - very silly.
ep.15 was important for the big step forward between Takuto and Mitsuki, something very cute is going on there. Mitsuki in a bikini was quite cute too...
The minor character designs are quite good aren't they? The boy on the yacht and his girlfriend were both good characters, visually.
ep.16 was another rather dull moralistic episode with Full Moon's goody-goody attitude victorious over the other singers nasty one.
I guess if the series is aimed at young girls (what 10-14 age range? Not sure) I guess that's a good ethic to be putting out but it was all a bit treacly.
Best two moments in this ep where when Takuto sulked and said "Huh, I'm going out for a walk." and promptly flew up in the sky; and the other was when he metamorphosed into the 12 YO Mitsuki and was at home. A 12YO girl walking about talking in a deep male voice was kind of... unsettling.
I see also the throat cancer subj got a short mention too. The expression on the doctor's face didn't look good did it?

I dunno, that small "accident" in ep15 basically caused the problems in the first place, me thinks. Although I wouldn't really have cared about her being in bikini; I cared more about how cluless Mitsuki is, even as a 12-yr old. Guess living a sheltered life really makes people like that. I would know, I'm living proof of an ignorant bumpkin back in my childhood days.
And ep16 is but the first episode for things to come. I mean c'mon, the job has yet to start, and the fact that Madoka (which you can pretty much guess now will be around for a long time to come) appears here is hint enough.

And I can concur. Hell, I've had enough experience even without girlfriends.
