That would be interesting, after looking at your site, i agree with you that you have very little direction 
Id offer to help do some graphics on the site, but im pretty much retired. Might try and dust of Photoshop over the break though. I like the site, interesting design, but maybe shoot for a defined purpose as opposed to just a blog-ish style website.
