I found to my dismay that in the older of Disney's two releases of the movie have only one angle, so I am forced to watch the movie with English credits and a pasted in English logo under the Japanese. Does the newer release (from 2010) have multi-angle capability this time, or not?

Yeah, the new release do have multi-angle capability.
