Kodama Merchandise History

I've been looking around for official or approved kodama (forest spirits in Mononoke Hime) merchandise.

I was wondering if anyone here dealt with cartoonpassion.com's store. They have some Mononoke Hime merchandise, but I'm not quite sure how authentic it is like the keitai (phone fastener) strap. I would really appreciate any help to distinguish unlicensed items from actual approved products.

Also, I came looking for a history/documentation of merchandise marketed in the form of kodamas. A lot of people have claimed that they have kodama keychains that click like the actual creatures. I sure would love proof of this. Furthermore, I'd like to acquire a new one myself.

I am not very familiar with the merchandise of Mononoke as most of the Ghibli goods focus on Totoro, Kiki or Laputa (^_^;; ). For small-size Kodama goods, so far I only know that there Kodama oyasuimi cords, furalin holders, mini plush toys, magnets, and stamps.
