Ghibli Documentary Coming Soon!Post Reply with Quote Edit/Delete Post Search for Posts by ~OneSummersDay~ Report Post to a Moderator        IP Address Go to the top of this page

Hey guys!

I saw this on anime news network this morning:

http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2013-07-08/studio-ghibli-documentary-film-to-open-this-fall

So on top of getting a new movie from Miyazaki, we're getting a documentary about him too! I think it primarily focuses on the development of The Wind Rises.

How exciting!

Cool! By that time I'll be in Japan so hopefully I'll get to see it! I also like that from the sounds of it, it'll be out around the same time as Kaguya-hime.

Ever since I watched the documentary which was based around Miyazaki and his team going through the process of making Princess Mononoke into reality, I've wanted to see more. I can't wait to watch the next one. Thanks for the head-up!

I am really excited, I haven't see the other one yet. I have only just started watching Anime and Ghibli films.

I saw Grave Of The Fireflies the other night, rather sad but was a great film. I am eager to watch more, and this documentary as well.

Welcome! I don't think I knew about the Princess Mononoke documentary... Do you remember what it was called?
