hail thee!
i'm looking for animes like princess mononoke, vision of escaflowne, record of lodoss war, etc. - anyone knows somemore else in the same style?

(btw. if it sometimes sounds a bit strange, i'm from austria and not very trained in writing english not to sound not so formal -__- )

hmmm maybe you should try Fushigi Yuugi for something like escaflowne.... it's also about a girl who ends up in another world

and go for "Bastard!".... it's got lodoss-ish drawings, tho the atmosphere is nothin like it

OOo you can DEFINATELY try out 3x3 Eyes..utterly known as Sazan Eyes in japanese. It's about the "holy land" and all the stuff. I must warn you, there is nudity and ALOT of violence and bloody junk in that.

I think Fushigi Yuugi is one of the best I've seen so far!

The animes i recommendPost Reply with Quote Edit/Delete Post Search for Posts by Rin Report Post to a Moderator        IP Address Go to the top of this page

i know this thread is very old, but hey, it never hurts to reply.

here are animes i recommend: inuyasha (a little like fushigi yuugi, but less mushy and has a cooler heroine), magic knight rayearth (ok, the plot may not be that terrific, but it works), nausicaa, and naruto.
