OK, then. Since I am an older male, I would rather hold off on you, Saddles, for a few more turns since we are apparently the oldest in here. The nest person should be a female I think...
I will select fenkashi for the next vict..., uh, questionee, lol
Do you accept the challenge, fen?
Oh, and since Sunday is almost over, the 20 questions will run from Mon thru Sunday this week, ok with everyone...
And remember, if you feel that a question is too personal or you just don't want to answer, then a simple "pass" will cover that question.
I think that it is more fun to see the answers...
As soon as we get an affirmation from fen, then we are ready to go...
Up to you, young'n
===================================
Choosing from the more recently active members, I have (male) Saddles, arren, Kaz, Flare, Skovgard (I think), and Roar
For (female) I have fen, NC, Kiki, and FFF. Unless any of the other, older members want to sign up...

I'll need to wait a bit before doing it, because the next two or three weeks will be quite busy. But whoever wants to do it can just say so I think.

4 ) Please tell us about your recent work in Africa. I am so curious - you haven't said much about it and it sounds like it was very interesting work.

Haha ok, here goes.
1) Maybe 13? Including Canada. The goal is to do 50 before I'm old and then another 50 after. Not sure what really qualifies as old... I'll keep you updated!
2) My favourite country to visit... hm probably China. It's so massive, and there's so much diversity in culture... and I loved the food and temples and history... and how easy it was to get around! And the people were actually so lovely. A lot of times you travel and feel like such a tourist... but on trains in China, the locals would talk to you and share their food with you, and everyone was so accepting. It was pretty cool.
3) Strangest food... haven't really had anything crazy. Insects probably... or scorpion. They don't taste like much beyond whatever is used to spice them.
4) Yeah, I'm working on a few projects. A lot of the day to day work is doing programming with a community-based radio station, lots of advocacy for poorly resourced communities and populations, radio discussions on development issues, and news coverage. I also do random guest appearances in the shows, and then I started helping with the news casting haha.
Aside from the radio, there are some food security and women's empowerment projects that having been ongoing, so I help with the monitoring and evaluation... write reports, apply for grants. Lots of stuff~ and it's a pretty dynamic work environment so there's something new everyday.
I hope that answers your question! I can explain more if you need

Yeah, I'm really enjoying it!
And idk, I'm not huge on trying weird food... like bush meat? No thanks. Or goat eyes? Eh... I like trying food from different cultures, but generally I stick to things I actually find appetizing. Also, most of the really strange food is just food because of lack of other options or high nutrient content... not because it tastes good.

5) How or why did you get into anime and what was the first film or series you watched?
6) If you had to pick an anime film or series that you just HAVE to watch again, which one and why?

5) Ooh hard question... technically the first series I watched was probably Sailor Moon, but I think the first time I actively watched shows I identified as anime was a bit later, with Gundam Wing and Card Captor Sakura. How did I get into anime? A combination of things - anime was different from the usual cartoons and seemed so much more creative; I was into art at the time, and I liked the style of character designs; and I just happened to watch some really good anime to start with so it was kinda easy to get into... plus I met some cool people online who cemented my interest.
6) Uhhh I thought the problem with this question would be too many choices... but it's the opposite. I'm very impulsive... so if I feel compelled to watch something again, I just go for it. I have a few series that I have watched more times than necessary haha. I guess if I had to pick one that I wanted to rewatch, I would pick Gankutsuou... because it was really well made but I have no idea whether I liked it or not. I likely wasn't giving it most of my attention when I watched the first time.
7) Favourite subject? English Language Arts. Got to read and write -what's not to like? I was obsessed with reading, and I loved writing short stories when I was a kid. I would get very involved, and it would be all I thought about for weeks. And back then, I actually enjoyed sharing my writing with others, so there was that as well.
