Yesterday I FINALLY watched this. It's one of the few that I'd never got round to seeing, and I'm determined to get them finished soon.

Anyway, I liked it! I've seen other parts of the Lupin III franchise, and I wasn't surprised that this was more along the lines of the more family-friendly instalments. It's very energetic, which I had come to expect, and the story was fun, even if at times I'm not sure it totally made sense.

Cagliostro is a lot of fun, I really like the old-fashioned cartoonishness of it.

I haven't seen any other Lupin III stuff but I have heard it can be uh, problematic for this day and age.

I think the earlier series are maybe a bit outdated, but from what I've seen they're quite tame really. The original manga is supposedly a lot more amoral though.

The only series I watched all of was one of the more recent ones, where Fujiko is the protagonist. It's much more adult than most versions, but it's very interesting, and the director went on to do Yuri On Ice afterwards.

Lupin Movie by Hayao Miyazaki was awesome.

I tried to watch some other ones from Lupin they are very, very different.

Ending was a bit confusing but overall it was awesome. I specially liked the portion where Lupin tries to reach the tower where the princess is.

Watching the "Castle of Caligostro" movie, I enjoyed it, but in the vein of some other anime that I've seen where the actions and movements of the characters are somewhat fantastical and probably impossible in real life, but that also made it more enjoyable... Made you wonder, what else is he going to do next...
