Hi ot@_kung, welcome!
It's great to hear that you have chosen Ghibli designs as your area of research for your analysis. You must be a hardcore Ghibli fan like everyone of us here . I have never done an academic project on Ghibli stuff but that sounds interesting to me.
Both Nanashi and E_Hakki has referred you to a few good sites with the poster images available and they certainly deserve to be checked out. For me, I am not very sure of the exact research area of your analysis, but I think you may be able to find some insights in this discussion:
http://onlineghibli.com/tavern/thread.ph...4&styleid=1
The starter of the thread, Michael, was doing a paper on Ghibli posters. The discussion initially focused on the background ideas, aesthetic values and cultural implications of the Ghibli posters and other advertising mediums. <Sadly it deterioated into a random (but enjoyable) chit-chat in the later pages. I am one of those that has to be blamed >
P.S. Oh how good it would be if I was having a trip with Lily ... I was indeed torn to half dead by all those doomed tests and cursed assignments. You know being a witch's familiar is no easy business... (Heck have you ever heard of a cat getting stampeded by school works?) Anyway here is Paley's territory. I am just taking refuge here from the tough world to get a breath of fresh air.
