Favorite cat in a Miyazaki movie?
Mine are, in this order:
1) Catbus (My Neighbor Totoro)
2) Captain Flint (Animal Treasure Island)
3) Baron (Whisper of the Heart)
4) Jiji (Kiki's Delivery Service)
5) Pero (Puss in Boots)
6) Moon/Muta (Whisper of the Heart)
7) Teto (Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind) (I know he's not really a cat, but he's very catlike)
Mrs. Holly (Sherlock Hound, "Little Martha's Mystery" -- the cat is only mentioned during the story, but makes a brief cameo at the end)

If you don't mind not having the newest version out, you can buy all the Ghibli movies really cheap on eBay! The new Ghibli Colllection ones always go for quite a bit, but as I said, the older versions are really cheap! Check it out dude, you don't know what you're missing having not seen all the films!!

Hi guys I'm back!

Well I have to say Baron and kittified Haru!

*Dances with glee.* I'm getting the manga that was based on TCR. Hopefully I'll have it in my paws before next week.

As soon as I finish reading it I'll update my site. I'll put up a review and maybe even some scans.


I showed the film to my nieghbor's 2 little girls and they LOVED it!

I was sad when I had to tell them that a sequel wasnt made. They were so disapointed.

They where laughing thier heads off when Muta got called MOO Ta. I kept watching thier faces to see thier reactions.
I nearlly busted a gut laughing when Lily freaked out.

She freaked out wthen the crazy Cat King proposed that Haru marry him instead.

I take it you didn't tell them that Haru said buta(pig) instead of Moota. Or maybe you didn't know either?
