Hey everyone!

I'm currently studying an art foundation, and am off to do theatre design at uni next year. For my final major project right now, I'm looking the section of 'Life of Pi' when the flying fish go over the boat. By the end of the project, I intend to make a puppet/costume combo to represent a fish, with mechanical aspects.

For research I thought that Ghibli flying machines would be really relevant. Any ideas for specific models I could look at? Links to images online?

The airships in Howl's Moving Castle always reminded me of sharks. Intentional, I'm sure. Their... things along the side also move like fins. Just a thought; I don't know if that's the kind of thing that might be relevant.
