When Marnie Was There earned 3 Annie Awards nominations

What are your thoughts on it?

When Marnie Was There trumps all of those nominees, except Inside Out if it was nominated, which it better be because MY GOD INSIDE OUT IS BRILLIANT.

My sentiments exactly...

Good to see! It would be nice if it gets the Oscar nomination too, since it's the last Ghibli production for at least the foreseeable future. I also like the sound of Takahata getting a "lifetime achievement" sort of award.

It would be even nicer if Marnie was released in the UK sometime in the near future. I would rather pay Ghibli for a legitimate DVD than ask my tech friend to get me a snide copy free.

I regret to announce that a number of my Ghibli's are non-Ghibli copies. I wanted to see them, period... When I do find a Ghibli copy of what I have, I do try to get it. It is hard to do sometimes, especially for the older ones. The newer ones I have mostly in Ghibli and when the DVD is released, I get it.

I believe that I have always been straightforward about this...

All my Ghibli films are ones released by Disney, so I guess all mine are legal, Ghibli copies.

Saviour, Inside Out is amazing. See it as soon as possible and bring a tissue box.
