Saishu Heiki Kanojo (She, the Ultimate Weapon) by Shin Takahashi is a Sci-Fi love story.

Has someone check up this anime?

That's the reason I like the manga (can't afford the anime...) is because of the relationships the characters have with eachother.

Chise is awesome. It's too bad about the ending...

I think Saikano can be viewed in many different perspective... and that's why I think it was really great anime.... eventhough it's very hard for me to follow the whole story... since it's a very-very bad ending.... anyway I love the dystopian theme in this anime..

Yeah, I've read about the ending. Chise's friends in the army were nice... and Chise is so sweet. Did the SDF just pick her off the street at random to make her into the Ultimate Weapon?

One of my favorite studios is GONZO.
To tell the truth, they kind of let me down with Saikano...and it's not just because the stupid ending for this series!
