Thanks a lot for the news.

I'd like to add that there are two more Howl related nominations for the Annies Award:

# Writing in an Animated Feature Production (Hayao Miyazaki, Donald H. Hewitt, Cindy Davis Hewitt - Howl's Moving Castle)

# Directing in an Animated Feature Production (Hayao Miyazaki - Howl's Moving Castle)

Hope that Howl will receive at least one award!

What really upsets me is that it should have been nominated for best production design/art direction, best musical score, and best character animation for whatever animator did the scene where Sophie cries near the end after she's "killed" Calcifer and Hauru.

Hi Nanashi, thanks for adding more info to it. Little Nemo isn't a really good movie, but it's nice to see everything that has been touched in some way by people who now work at Studio Ghibli. IMO if you haven't seen it and you're a true Ghibli addict then you should watch it. However, if you haven't seen pre-ghibli films like the ones below than you'd better watch these first:
- Conan:The Boy of The Future,
- 3000 Miles in Search of Mother
- Heidi
- Anne of Green Gables
- Hols: Prince of the Sun
- Panda Kopanda
- et cetera...

It's time for an exclusive Studio Ghibli Short Animation Feature Special! Last week of course Studio Ghibli and (of course also Nausicaa.net and OnlineGhibli) announced three new short animated features made especially for the Ghibli Museum: "House-hunting", "Mon-mon the water spider" and "The Day I Harvested a Star". Because of this I've made a special with info about these to be released features, but also quite some pictures and info about Studio Ghibli Short Animation Features that were released earlier and you most likely haven't seen and or read anyhere else!

Info can be found here: www.ghibliworld.com/news.html

Enjoy and the best wishes for 2006!

Best regards,
Peter

Nice to see old Miyazaki in an interview again. It have been a while since his last interview on the Golden Lion. A pity that the "cold war" between his son and him has not ended yet.
